It's the third photograph reviewed in the video. The photo was taken at Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles. It's shown below.
Add in the mysteries of such writers as Ross MacDonald and Raymond Chandler and you have a recipe for murder and mayhem.

The building shown above isn't in LA but Laguna Beach, CA. Still it could very well be the backdrop for a murder mystery.

To top it off the name of the real-estate company in the sign on the left is 'Chandler.'

You gotta love it.
For me it's a project that I've been turning over in my head your the last couple of months. Trouble is I don't live in the Coachella Valley and that's where my special project would be. Specifically along the 111 Highway.

The photo above shows a mall in downtown Palm Springs being torn down so something just as silly can be erected. To the left of the old mall is a hotel. It stays.
First stop was Main Beach with it's Boardwalk where many locals walk the dogs or or have Starbucks coffee and talk the latest gossip with other locals.

When I arrived at Main Beach there was a Junior Life Saving class on the beach and I decided to get a few shots of the group. The fellow on the right was telling me I couldn't photograph his kids. I questioned him because Main Beach is a PUBLIC beach. He stated he didn't want me taking photos of the kids in their Speedos. I almost laugh at him but instead took photos of him. What he didn't know was I was still taking photos of the kids in their Speedos.
Welcome to the 21st century.
