Work Load
Not In Speedos
For International Street Photography day I planned to spend the entire day in and around my town, Laguna Beach, CA. First stop was Main Beach with it's Boardwalk where many locals walk the dogs or or have Starbucks coffee and talk the latest gossip with other locals.
When I arrived at Main Beach there was a Junior Life Saving class on the beach and I decided to get a few shots of the group. The fellow on the right was telling me I couldn't photograph his kids. I questioned him because Main Beach is a PUBLIC beach. He stated he didn't want me taking photos of the kids in their Speedos. I almost laugh at him but instead took photos of him. What he didn't know was I was still taking photos of the kids in their Speedos.
Welcome to the 21st century.

The Getty In Black & White
The photo was taken inside the building that houses the Getty's photography collection. It seemed appropriate to convert this digital color image to black & white.
Using Adobe Lightroom 5 I first made all the adjustments to the original color image and then I remove all saturation (-100.) Bingo just the B&W image is was looking for.
This is really getting too easy.
