I've always enjoyed using Black & White film. Almost always Tri-X. But with digital cameras I haven't converted much to black & white because I just didn't like the look.

Then came Lightroom 4. I actually didn't do anything other than select the Black & White preset 'B&W Look 2.'

I do some Basic adjustments in the Develop module after I've converted to B&W but usually they're minor.

Next time I go to downtown Los Angeles I may shoot everything with converting to B&W in mind.
